Ecollywood is a party that will raise environmental awareness using the spotlight of the Toronto International Film Festival. It’s not an uptight politically driven affair that ignores the context of the festival fun that thousands of festival attendees seek. No, what makes Ecollywood compelling and unique on the film fest party circuit is the party environment itself; one that embodies the eco-friendly existence advocated by environmentalists and A-list celebrities alike. From organic food and drink to a vegan fashion show and environmentally friendly swag bags, this party acknowledges those companies, celebrities and charities that are making a world of difference. At Ecollywood, people can actually let loose and feel good about it. Choroid Films is proud to be donating a portion of the proceeds from the event to the David Suzuki Foundation. |
